Cast coated paper, also known as glass powdered paper, is an advanced coated printing paper with a particularly smooth surface. It is coated on the base paper twice or once in a thick coating (20 to 39 g on one side). When the coating is in a wet state, the coated side is tightly attached to a highly polished chrome-plated drying cylinder and dried.
