Officials of the environmental protection department said that the developed countries have gradually emerged and solved the problem of pollution in phases over the past 100 years. Insufficient investment in pollution control and delayed engineering construction are one of the reasons for the slow progress of pollution control.
The mistaken thinking of some local leaders to develop environmental protection first is another reason for the slowness of pollution prevention and control actions in these localities. Some local leaders have opposed economic development and environmental protection, focusing on the interests of the former, light and long-term development, emphasizing local interests, and lightening the overall interests.
