The principle and characteristics of roller folding

Roller folding is the paper that has been cut off to fold on the folding drum and the output drum, picked up by the picking needle, and on the connecting line of the drum, the elastic folding knife pushes the paper into the empty gear of the drum. The cleat is clamped along the fold line and taken away by the roller, which folds the knife away from the crease. A device that uses a folding knife of one cylinder and a clamping plate of another cylinder to complete folding in relative rolling is called a tumbler.

The scroll folding machine has high folding accuracy and high speed, and it is generally used in roll paper printing presses. Depending on the number of folds completed and the type of signature, different numbers of folding cylinders and folding solutions are used.
