ABC Nanotech Co., Ltd. in Daejeon, South Korea, has successfully developed a nano-conductive ink that can be applied to rapidly developing wireless RFID tags, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and flexible printed circuit boards (FPCBs). Can be used to print electromagnetic shielding materials.
ABC Nanotechnology uses nanosilver as the main body of conductive ink. The finished conductive ink is a colloid with a solid content of less than 30%. Metallic silver is evenly dispersed in the colloid with a diameter of less than 25 nanometers, giving the ink an ideal resistivity. The company also showed equipment for printing circuit boards using this ink. The traditional FPCB processing process goes through six processes. At least 90% of the copper raw materials are discarded during this separation process. The use of conductive ink can eliminate waste of materials and reduce the number of processes to two, eliminating the need for water-washing of substrate residues. This can increase economic efficiency, significantly reduce manufacturing costs, and reduce environmental pollution in the manufacturing process.
