7. Timing filling method This method is a newer method, which is a relatively new method. This method allows the liquid material to be poured into the container at regular intervals, and the metering is controlled by time while keeping the flow rate or the flow rate constant.

As shown in Fig. 9-7, the liquid material is sent from the external liquid supply pump through the liquid supply pipe 3 to the fixed disk 4 with the liquid inlet groove. A metering disc 1 is provided below the fixed disc, and several filling holes are opened on it. The liquid inlet pipe 2 is installed below the weighing plate, and the measuring plate rotates at a certain angular velocity, so that the filling volume can be measured, which is equivalent to filling the container with the liquid material at regular time. The rotation speed of the metering disc determines the time for which the filling hole stays below the filling slot, thus determining the volume of the filling container. The filling volume can also be adjusted by adjusting the flow rate of the liquid material flowing to the metering tank. Using several metering tanks at the same time, it is possible to fill several different liquid materials at one time in the same container. The gap between the metering plate and the fixed plate must be kept constant during filling to ensure continuous and accurate filling.
This method can fill a wide range of liquid materials and can even fill semi-fluid materials such as seasoned peanut butter or aerosol dope.
8. The constant volume filling method of the piston is a constant volume filling. As shown in Fig. 9-8, the liquid inlet cylinder is mounted on the side of the reservoir 1, and the piston 2 is contained therein, and the rotary filling valve 3 is provided in the lower part. The filling system consists of a suction stroke and a discharge stroke. When inhaled, the piston rises, sucks liquid material in the reservoir, and flows through the rotary valve into the dosing cylinder. After the dosing cylinder is full, the rotary valve is driven by the mechanical cam, the suction inlet is closed, and the outlet opens. The filling begins when the piston moves downwards, and the piston fills the volume of liquid material into the container below. If the container does not reach the filling station and the rotary valve does not open, the liquid material is returned to the reservoir. The filling capacity can be adjusted within a certain range by changing the effective stroke of the piston.

This method is accurate in measurement, and the filling capacity is easy to adjust. The filling flow rate can be from low speed to high speed. It is suitable for filling various high-viscosity liquid materials or pastes and pulps with a filling capacity of 1 to 3,500 mm3.
9. Diaphragm constant volume filling method This method is a constant volume filling, is a filling method developed in 1975, with quantitative accuracy, health, filling and other advantages.

As shown in FIGS. 9-9, the liquid inlet valve 5 is installed under the reservoir 4 above the filling rotary table, and is connected with the liquid reservoir and the constant volume chamber 3. To the liquid level in the liquid storage tank, a pressure of 98 to 980 Pa is added. After the liquid is discharged from the constant volume chamber, the liquid material is re-introduced by this pressure. If the container does not enter the filling station, the constant volume chamber will not discharge liquid material. The inlet valve consists of two valves: one to control the discharge of the liquid material in the reservoir and the other to control the liquid material to be poured into the container. The inlet valve is controlled by a pneumatic controller.
