Trademark registration marks or texts are generally not found in fonts and are difficult to produce using shape cuts or merging, but they can be drawn using the Bezier curve tool in CorelDraw. In order to faithfully depict the shape of the logo, it should first be scanned out, outline the logo in Photoshop, and then use the "file / output path to Illustrator" function, save it as ai file, and then import in CorelDraw, you can Get the exact shape of the logo.

Need to pay attention to using spot colors

Many well-designed labels use spot colors. Spot color printing can achieve high saturation and high brightness that can not be achieved with four-color printing. It can avoid the instability caused by multi-color overprinting and save the printing process. When designing labels containing spot colors, note the following points.

1. Spot color selection

For spot color labels that have less color, Y, M, and C primary colors can be used instead of spot color emission. For more complex labels containing four colors, spot color versions can be used with PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM(R)-coated color plates in standard fill/fixed color palettes, including PANTONE Process Yellow CVC, PANTONE Process Magenta CVC, PANTONE The four spot colors Process Cyan CVC and PANTONE Process Black CVC are used more often, as shown in Figure 1.

It is best not to replace the spot color with the original black color, because the black overlay after RIP will have unexpected consequences. The choice of spot color swatches should be extremely cautious, and some uncommon spot color swatches should not be used as far as possible in order to ensure correct distribution.

2. Spot color printing

Since it is a spot color printing, it will not be overprinted, and there will be a “deadlock” between spot colors and spot colors. In order to avoid this phenomenon, “trap” settings need to be performed as long as the shallow spot colors of the connected parts are added. Appropriate overprinting frame can be.

3. Spot color gradient

Spot color gradients are very problematic in RIP, especially in spot colors to four-color gradients, as shown in Figure 2.

From Y100 to PANTONE Process Cyan CVC's gradient (see Figure 2a), the post-distribution spot color version should have a gradient effect, as shown in Figure 2b, but the actual hair typeface is not. The results obtained are shown in Figure 2c. This is due to the fact that RIP does not properly explain the gradient of spot colors to four colors. If there is a gradient of spot colors to four colors, it is better to put a spot color on it and use one of the four colors instead of another page to get the correct result.
