Objective: To compare the clinical value of serum anti-tartaric acid phosphatase (Tracp5b), carbohydrate antigen-153 (CA-153) and carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) in the diagnosis of breast cancer bone metastasis. Method: Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and electrochemiluminescence method were used to detect serum Tracp5b, CA-153 and CEA levels in 18 healthy women, 26 breast cancer patients without bone metastases and 32 breast cancer patients with bone metastases. Results: Serum Tracp5b levels were significantly higher than those without bone metastasis group and healthy control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05); the sensitivity of serum Tracp5b to diagnose bone metastasis of breast cancer was 78.13%, specificity was 86.36%; The sensitivity is 37.50% and the specificity is 77.27%; the sensitivity of CEA is 21.88% and the specificity is 84.09%; Tracp5b has a higher sensitivity than CA-153 and CEA, and the difference is statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion: Tracp5b can be used as one of the serum markers for diagnosis of breast cancer bone metastasis.
