After the ice flower ink has a certain pattern, it is not suitable to apply other inks thereon. In the process of overprinting, attention should also be paid to the sequence of the printing process, because the iced ink can only undergo chemical reaction under the condition of receiving strong ultraviolet light. However, the general pigments, especially dyes, have a relatively low light-tolerance level and will discolor or fade during the light curing process. Therefore, it is appropriate to rank the printing process of various colors of ice. Some printers are accustomed to cover the surface of color inks with UV-curable inks. This kind of printing process can produce beautiful results when using imitation metal etching inks. However, if this process is applied to the printing of iced ink, the absorption of ultraviolet light by different colors of ink will directly affect the reflection of the gold and silver cardboard, thus affecting the final pattern effect and fastness of the ice printing ink. Therefore, it is recommended to use colored iced inks that have been adjusted.
