Dust particle counter is an instrument used to measure the number and particle size distribution of dust particles per unit volume in a clean environment. It can be widely used for various provincial and municipal drug inspection centers, blood centers, epidemic prevention stations, disease control centers, quality supervision institutes and other authoritative institutions, the electronics industry, pharmaceutical workshops, semiconductors, optical or precision machining, plastics, paint spraying, hospitals, environmental protection, Production enterprises and scientific research departments such as inspection institutes.
classification
1. According to the test principle: light scattering method test (white light, laser), microscope method test, weighing method test, DMA method test (particle size analyzer), inertial method test, diffusion method test, condensed nuclear method test (CNC) Wait.
2. According to the flow rate: small flow rate 0.1cfm (2.83L / min) large flow rate 1cfm (28.3L / min), there are also 50L / min, 100L / min flow instruments in the new GMP regulations;
3.According to shape and volume: handheld, desktop
4. According to the test channel: single channel (only one particle diameter is measured); dual channel (testing two particle diameters); multi-channel (testing multiple particle diameters)
5. Others: Application areas of particle counters
Precautions
1. When the inlet pipe is covered or blocked, do not start the counter
2. The laser dust particle counter should be used in a clean environment to prevent damage to the laser sensor
3. Do not measure the mixed gas (such as hydrogen and oxygen) that may react. This gas may also explode in the counter. Measuring these gases requires contacting the manufacturer for more information.
4. Do not sample compressed air without high-pressure decompression equipment (such as a high-pressure diffuser). All particle counters are designed to operate at an atmospheric pressure.
5. No water, solution or other liquids can enter the sensor from the inlet pipe.
6. The particle counter is mainly used to test the clean environment of the purification workshop. When there are loose particles, dust sources, and sprays in the measurement place, it must be kept at least 12 inches away from the inlet pipe. In order to prevent the above particles and liquid from polluting the sensor and the pipeline.
7. When sampling, avoid sampling the gas discharged from the counter itself or contaminated by the gas from the counter.
8. When connecting an external printer or an external temperature and humidity sensor, you need to turn off the counter; when performing the printing operation, there must be printing paper on the printer, otherwise the print head will be damaged.
