In recent years, the library has been committed to providing active and quality services to teachers and students, helping to improve the research level of the school's teachers and the quality of students. On the afternoon of March 27th, the library director Han Zhengli and deputy director Huang Pingli led the teachers of the Information Consulting Department to the School of Computer Science, and gave a special lecture for the teachers and students of the school. After the lecture, they also represented the teachers of the School of Computer Science. A symposium was held. The Vice President of the School of Computer Science presided over the lecture and symposium.
The library specially invited Dr. Li Jing from the IEEE China Office to give lectures to teachers and students of the School of Computer Science entitled “Deep Decryption IEEE IEL Database: Research Retrieval and Academic Contributionâ€. The lecture content revolves around the IEEE platform search skills, platform features, and submission process. With the links and other issues unfolding, everyone listened carefully to the lectures and answered the questions of Dr. Li Jing actively and accurately. After the students, they expressed a lot of benefits.
The symposium continued after the lecture. The School of Library and Computer Science exchanged information on library digital resources off-campus visits, literature resource acquisition, database resource requirements, library lecture promotion, library space and use, etc. The deputy director Huang Pingli and the teachers of the information consultation department answered the questions of the teachers of the School of Computer Science, and pushed the relevant database resources of the new procurement and trial to the teachers of the Institute of Science and Technology, and introduced the work prepared by the library for the school teachers. Room, as well as a training room that can be used for teacher-student exchanges. The Associate Dean of the Army thanked the library for the special lectures and such push services. I hope that the library can expand the publicity channels of the lectures and encourage young teachers to go to the library to experience related services.
This activity is a microcosm of library service innovation and embedded subject services. The library serves all colleges and universities. It is willing to enter the department and listen to the needs of teachers and students. It can solve the problem of literature retrieval for teachers and students in a timely manner. The library also hopes to continuously improve the service experience of the teachers and students of the whole school through this innovative service model.
