The United States cultivates perennial food crops

A research team headed by Prof. Jackson, an agronomist in the United States, has recently successfully cultivated a variety of perennial food crops on an experimental farm in California. These hybrid wheat, sorghum, soybeans, and corn, like leeks, can grow again each year after harvest, and they also have resistance to insects, drought, lodging, and weed resistance. However, at present, these perennial food crops are only experimentally cultivated in a small area, and it is expected that they can be widely promoted after 3 years.
