At present, the following methods are mainly used for inspection of paperboard appearance paper diseases:
1, light (transmission) inspection
The paper is facing the light source and looking at the light through the paper sheet to show different shades of light. During inspection, the line of sight and the light source should be on the same level, but in the opposite direction. This inspection method is mainly used to check the uniformity (uniformity) of the fibrous structure of the paper.
2, reflected light flat vision inspection
This method is to lay the paper on the table, in the ordinary indoor light under direct sunlight, with the naked eye from the paper about 33 cm to check the paper. At the time of inspection, the eyes were looking at the paper. This inspection method is mainly used to inspect the light transmission points, creases, wrinkles, fiber bundles, cracks, irregular trimming, fiber thorns, flaws, sand, holes, and dirt.
3, reflected light strabismus examination
Some papers, such as glossy or dull scratches, blankets, etc., are difficult to find with the head-up inspection method and must be checked with strabismus. Place the paper on a bevel or raise one side of the paper with both hands, look at the light from a different angle or see the light obliquely with the reflected light. If checking the paper surface is fluffy, rub the paper surface with your hand first, raise one side of the paper closer to the eye and look obliquely at the light, if the paper is fluffy, you can see many small fibers erected on the paper surface.
4, seeing hand touch inspection
This method is based on sensory exposure. It is mainly used to check for paper diseases that are difficult to detect by the naked eye and must be felt by hand. Such as pulp, hard blocks (including sand, sawdust, etc.), in addition to the first look, they must also be used to touch, depending on whether there is a protruding paper, and judged by the sense organs.
