The project “Use of carbon dioxide to prepare aliphatic polyethylene carbonate and degradable polyurethane foam” undertaken by Jiangsu Yuhua Jinlong Technology Group Jinlong Green Chemical Co., Ltd. has passed the technical appraisal of relevant departments. The aliphatic polycarbonate and its polyurethane foam prepared using carbon dioxide as a basic raw material have complete biodegradability, and it is gradually replacing the existing polystyrene and other packaging materials, which is an effective way to solve the "white pollution".
