The main cause of sticky box failure is usually the adhesive problem and the bonding process. It may not have much to do with the quality of the raw material itself. However, due to many problems caused by the sticky box failure, it does have a serious impact, such as the carton containing the goods. The bond is cracked during transportation and its loss is inestimable. Carton manufacturers have been hoping to use a more objective and effective method to determine the specific causes of sticky box failures, such as the poor adhesiveness of adhesives, bad process in the process of sticking boxes, and so on. Two ways of bonding

Carton bonding generally uses cold glue and hot melt two methods. The cold glue is applied to the lap joint tongue of the corrugated paper box splice at the joint of the water-based glue, and the process of bonding the both sides by applying pressure, after the moisture in the water-based glue is absorbed, the adhesive effect is achieved. General operators believe that water-based glue penetrates deep into the carton and actually penetrates only a small amount of cardboard fiber. In the process of bonding, the adhesive substance in the water-based adhesive will transfer to the splice together with the moisture. Although the adhesiveness can be quickly generated, it does not penetrate into the paperboard quickly. Therefore, in order to make the carton adhere more firmly, you can The lap tongue of the carton is roughened to enhance the bonding pressure at the splicing of the carton to achieve a more firm adhesion. The hot melt must be used at a high temperature, the splicing surface is bonded by pressure, and the adhesive strength is enhanced after cooling at high temperature. The splicing surface neither absorbs the hot melt nor penetrates. If there is a foreign matter between the splicing surfaces, the bonding effect will be poor. When using a hot melt adhesive, make sure that there is no foreign matter between the bonding surfaces.
