Conversion of Style in PageMaker

If you want to make some minor changes to the layout of a layout in PageMaker, you can use the control panel instead of resetting the layout. When using Pagemaker to typeset PageMaker with copy and paste to connect scattered text blocks together, sometimes it is necessary to merge multiple discrete text blocks into a single text block. If the block and the block itself are already connected, it is sufficient to pull down the roller shutter. However, if there is no connection between them, then only copy or cut, and then paste. Of course, this is one of the methods, but if there are multiple paragraphs to be linked, this method is too cumbersome and time-consuming. PageMaker puts in a graph and asks if you include this graph or does not include it. In the case of a disassembled EPS image, it contains only the header. Its interpretation is very low, and its megabyte is less than PageMaker's threshold. PageMaker automatically includes this file header and no longer links the remaining DCSs. In the case of a color file, the output will become a low-accuracy map. Similarly, the diagrams contained in the PageMaker file are modified in other software, and PageMaker does not relink, and the old ones that have not been modified are still coming out.

Fault: PageMaker needs more screen repaint time than word processor because it needs to calculate precisely where each element is placed on the page.

Solution: Do not use a color master. Select the black and white option in the monitor panel. When doing layout, use the edit menu's pre-set command to make Greek text large. PageMaker displays Greek text much faster, and when you want to read the text format, you can always change the font size back to the actual size. Each time a page is displayed on the screen. If the layout is a folded page, do not display two pages (in the PAGE SETUP dialog box, cancel the FACING PAGE option). It takes more time to write two pages than one page. In the PAGE menu, change the display to be smaller than the actual page.

Fault: PageMaker has default settings for each new file format.

Solution: Create a set of custom format values, and even store the default text, graphics, or home page, create a document, save it as a template file. * To change the existing default settings when opening any new file, you should Selecting a menu command for a desired setting without having to open the file will change the default settings for all new files.

Fault: Many dialogs generated by PageMaker commands contain dialogs

Solution: Click OK or CANCEL in the current dialog box and hold down "OPTION". PageMaker automatically closes all dialogs and returns to the layout.
