3 Packaging Engineering Professional Training Base Construction

In addition to learning more systematic professional theoretical knowledge in the classroom, students should also receive more rigorous professional skills training and professional quality instruction in the school (outside) training base.
3. 1 Construction of Campus Training Base According to the latest statistics, the printing and packaging industry has become one of the most important pillar industries in Shenzhen. Shenzhen has also become one of the top 3 printing and packaging centers in China. In view of the good prospects for the development of the packaging industry in Shenzhen, our institute has given great support and assistance to the construction and development of packaging engineering. At present, the packaging engineering major has established a relatively complete on-campus training base (print media technology center), and has advanced printing and packaging teaching and training equipment, including: advertising photography equipment, computers, lithographic and flexographic plate making equipment, silk screen making And printing equipment, paper and board performance testing equipment and equipment, Heidelberg color offset printing equipment (SM52-V), finishing equipment, carton printing and forming equipment, computer control film bag making machine, self-adhesive trademark printing machine, Packaging carton CAD system software (BOX-VELLUM) and so on. In addition, there are also student imposition training room, packaging design and production room and other venues. The on-campus training base is basically able to meet the teaching needs of packaging professional theory courses, such as "does not count the application software", "plate making principles and processes", "package printing" courses. At the same time, it also undertakes many tasks such as actual printing and packaging production tasks, comprehensive training of professional skills, external vocational skills training, and assessment of professional skills.
3.2 Off-campus training base construction In order to make up for the insufficiency of the site, equipment and other conditions of the training base in the school, and to make close contact between the theoretical teaching and the actual production of the packaging, our institute has signed a "school-enterprise cooperation agreement" with the company. A number of well-known packaging companies in Shenzhen have been set up to establish the “Shenzhen Vocational and Technical College Practice Base”. At present, the types of packaging enterprises that establish off-campus training bases include: packaging and advertising design companies; packaging materials manufacturing enterprises; packaging container manufacturing enterprises; packaging and printing companies; packaging container application companies. Through the production practice at the off-campus training base, on the one hand, students can truly and practically come into contact with the packaging industry with new technologies and new skills. On the other hand, schools can also understand the requirements of companies for talents and the development of production. Schools can These information adjustments in teaching work make higher vocational education reform more timely and more accurate in reflecting the development of the local economy and social progress.

4 Packaging Engineering Professional Teaching Staff Construction

4.1 The "double-qualified" teacher The strengthening of the teaching staff is the fundamental guarantee for improving the teaching level. Since the training objectives of higher vocational education are different from those of ordinary higher education, the teachers employed by higher vocational education must not only have relatively new theoretical knowledge but also have rich practical experience; Teachers who can also guide practical teaching are often referred to as "dual-qualified" teachers.
4.2 The Construction of "Double-qualified" Teachers Team The construction of "dual-qualified" teachers is the key to whether higher vocational colleges can carry out the characteristics of higher vocational education and whether it can achieve the training objectives of higher vocational education. In response to the current lack of dual-qualified teachers, the packaging engineering program employs a combination of full-time teachers and part-time teachers. At present, the teachers of packaging engineering in our college come from both universities and packaging manufacturers. According to the different sources of teachers, the development of targeted training programs, such as teachers from packaging manufacturing companies, although they have the technical titles of engineers or senior engineers, but have not yet obtained the qualifications of teachers in colleges and universities, we asked them Participate in pre-job training for teachers qualifications in Guangdong Province and attend training courses such as "Higher Education", "Education Psychology", "Introduction to Vocational Education", "Pedagogy", "Teaching Standards", and "Use of Audio-visual Equipment"; For teachers from colleges and universities and graduate students assigned in the current year, they plan to arrange for them to go for a period of time for internships and go deep into the forefront of packaging production companies, which helps them improve their professional practice and enrich their classroom teaching. content.
There are many ways in which the "dual-qualified" teachers can cultivate. For example: a. Encourage professional teachers to participate in the teaching level competition organized by the college to improve the quality of teaching. Some teachers are excellent in teaching, and their teaching quality is “free of inspection” for one year; b. Organize professional teachers to participate in teaching observation activities of outstanding teachers; c. Implementation of the supervision system of professional directors and supervisors in the random lecture system, and fill in detailed lecture records; d. Strengthen the technical exchange activities with packaging manufacturers and provide enterprises with training courses in packaging technology; e. 5 Construction of Professional Management Committee of Packaging Engineering

The establishment of a professional management committee is a new mode of running a higher vocational education to meet the needs of local economic and social development. It consists of 5 to 11 professional or managerial staff in its field of specialization. There is a chairman of the board of directors. It is generally chaired by the president of the trade association or experts or authorities in the field or senior management personnel. There are 3 to 8 members, and the college’s professional director serves as the deputy director of the professional management committee and appoints a professional teacher to serve as the secretary.
Our professional management committee of packaging engineering is composed of leaders of Shenzhen Packaging Industry Association, experts or senior managers of packaging enterprises in Shenzhen, and teachers of packaging engineering. The professional management committee played a very important role in the development and construction of packaging engineering. For example, in the course of revising the 2003-level packaging engineering professional teaching plan, the professional director is responsible for organizing professional teachers to conduct thematic discussions first, and then to discuss, revise, and finalize the review by experts of professional management committees.
