The content of non-volatile substances in the liquid beverage packaging is tested by the evaporation residue test. The standard that can be referred to in the detection process is mainly GB / T 5009.60. The immersion liquids that can be used include n-hexane, water, acetic acid, and ethanol. A suitable infusion solution can be selected according to the type of beverage packaged. For example, a sample of an acid beverage is packaged, acetic acid can be selected as the infusion solution, and a sample of protein beverage packaged, n-hexane can be selected as the infusion solution.
