For this reason, the author describes the following preventive and remedial measures for scraper wear caused by scrapers, plates, and inks for reference by peers.

First, preventive measures

1. When the machine needs to be stopped for half a day or longer, ink tank cleaning is required. In addition to pouring the ink out of the barrel, cleaning the ink tank, and the printing plate, a top cover is added above the ink tank to prevent dust from falling.

2. For the positioning blade, adding a spring pad at the axial ends of the blade can increase the elasticity of the blade.

3. For a squeegee type blade, a rubber gasket or a foamed plastic gasket is placed on both sides of the blade to reduce hard friction.

Second, failure and exclusion

1. When the blade is not straight or with traces of damage, the blade needs to be changed.

2. If the angle between the scraper and the drum is not satisfactory, correct the scraper.

3. The drum is badly processed, such as if the plate is too deep or the aluminized material is poor, the plate needs to be replaced.

4. The position of the printing plate is not suitable. Generally, only the printing plate can be adjusted.

5. Ink particles large and hard, or impurities sand, will lead to ink adhesion to the plate is too strong, then need to adjust or replace the ink. Often diluted by filtration.
