High barrier PET plastic packaging

Tetra Pak introduced a new solution called Glaskin TM<STRONG>, which deposits a very thin, fully transparent, high-barrier silicon oxide film on the inner surface of pre-blow molded PET bottles. The GlaskinTM coating is good at blocking oxygen and carbon dioxide, and it is difficult to react with food or the contents of the bottle. Therefore, the damage to the beverage during transportation and storage is reduced so that the shelf life of the packaged contents is sufficiently extended.
