1. The test preparation shall comply with the provisions of GB/T9865.1.
2, hot air accelerated aging and heat resistance test using the sample according to the provisions of GB/T2941 to adjust the state, do not use the complete product or test piece.
3. The aged sample cannot be mechanically, chemically or thermally treated.
4. The number of samples before and after aging is usually determined to be five, but not less than three.
5. Only samples with the same size and specifications can be compared.
The sample size is measured prior to heating and, whenever possible, marked after aging, the mark cannot be used in any critical surface of the sample and must not be damaged or decomposed upon heating.
In order to prevent the migration of sulfur, antioxidants, peroxides or plasticizers, it is avoided to simultaneously heat different types of rubber samples in the same ventilation type aging test chamber. It is recommended that only the following types of materials be heated together:
a, the same type of polymer;
b. a vulcanized rubber containing the same type of accelerator or a similar ratio of sulfur and accelerator;
c. Rubber containing the same type of antioxidant;
d. Rubber containing the same amount of plasticizer of the same type.
