My company's touch sensitive oil PE packaging film products printed by gravure printing, the author of a small cotton soft daily sanitary packaging film for example, touch the photosensitive oil printing process is introduced. The base material for the packaging of this product is a milky white PE film. The printing type is surface printing. Either ethyl acetate or a mixed solvent of ethyl and ethyl alcohol (ratio of 1:1) is used as the ink thinner. According to the process of blown film, printing, slitting, hot edge, hemming and packaging, the production process is carried out. In the unwinding unit, the unwinding tension and the pulling tension are set to 0.17±0.05 Mpa; in the winding unit, the winding taper is set to 20±3% and the pulling tension is set to 0.20±0.05 Mpa. Touch the use of oil precautions
1. Storage and Transportation Requirements
(1) Touch the photosensitive oil should be stored at room temperature and constant temperature and humidity environment, avoid high temperature exposure and low temperature freezing. The storage environment should be kept away from the fire and ensure good indoor ventilation.
(2) The shelf life of the touch-sensitive oil is usually 12 months and it must be used within the warranty period. Do not mix with other ink products. The unused touch oil should be kept sealed.
(3) Care should be taken during transportation to avoid heavy impact and impact.
2. Printing requirements
In order to improve the printing quality of touch-sensitive oil, I suggest to dilute the touch-sensitive oil before printing, and shake it well to avoid agglomeration. In addition, there are the following points of attention.
(1) The photosensitive oil-touch plate is preferably laser-patterned, with 175-200 lines/inch screen line to increase the amount of photosensitive oil transferred on the surface of the PE film, and is also conducive to improving the abrasion resistance of the ink layer. Luminous, so that prints have a stronger haptic effect.
(2) Under normal circumstances, touch the photosensitive oil can be used normally, but the printing process should still pay attention to control its viscosity, generally should be controlled at 23 ~ 26s. If the viscosity is high, you can add appropriate amount of ethanol and ethyl alcohol mixed solvent (1:1 ratio) to dilute.
(3) In the printing process, touch the photosensitive oil should maintain a good leveling, if the leveling is not good, will affect the printing effect of touch oil.
(4) In order to ensure that the printing film is well dried, the amount of wind and number of lights in the drying tunnel of the gravure printing machine must be adjusted. The author suggests that the temperature of the drying tunnel can be set to 50-60°C, infrared drying is used in combination with hot air, winding or Cold air is used for cooling before coiling.
(5) After the machine is shut down, the roller should be cleaned with solvent in time to prevent the photosensitive oil from drying on the surface. If there is a dry problem, special cleaning agent can be used for cleaning.
Touch the oil performance test
According to the general standard of packaging bags and the requirement of national standard GB/T7707-2008 "Intaglio Decoration Print", the author mainly tested the adhesion fastness and wear resistance of touch oil on PE packaging film.
1. Attachment fastness test
Test method: 3M special tape (600#) is affixed on the surface of the PE film that is printed with photosensitive oil. Roll on the 3M tape 3 times in one direction with a 2kg rubber roller. Then quickly peel the 3M tape. Test result: There is no ink spot or other color on the stripped 3M adhesive tape, which means that the ink layer of the touch sensitive oil has not been pulled off, and its attachment fastness is considered as required.
2. Abrasion resistance test
Test method: Place the cut printed touch sensitive oil PE packaging film flat on the abrasion tester platform and press it at both ends. Use a 2kg slider to rub 100 times on the surface. Test results: The touch-sensitive oil did not fall off after detection, indicating that its wear resistance also meets the requirements.
Touch the problem of photosensitive oil At present, touch the photosensitive oil in the application of flexible packaging still has the following problems.
(1) Due to the influence of the production process and raw material prices, the cost of touching the photosensitive oil is higher, which is 20% to 30% higher than the normal ink.
(2) Touching the transfer properties of the photosensitive oil is not as good as ordinary ink, and measures should be taken to improve it to improve the transfer performance of the photosensitive oil.
(3) The abrasion resistance of the touch-sensitive oil is worse than the normal ink, and the ink supplier needs to continue to improve.
